Privacy Policy

TJ Lab is a small South African business run by a young entrepreneur, with adult supervision. We respect your privacy and only use your personal information to process and deliver your order. We aim to handle personal information in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

What we collect

This website has no forms, no user accounts and no tracking or advertising cookies. We only receive the information you choose to send us by email when you order or ask a question, usually:

• your name, email address and contact number;
• your delivery address (or a gift recipient's name and address, if you ask us to send a gift directly to them); and
• your proof of payment.

We do not ask for, and you should never send us, ID numbers, passwords, card details or banking login details.

How we use it

• To confirm your payment and your order.
• To arrange delivery or collection.
• To contact you about your order, including any problems or refunds.
• To keep basic sales and accounting records.

We do not sell or rent your information, and we won't add you to a mailing list unless you ask us to.

Who we share it with

If you choose courier delivery, we share the recipient's name, delivery address and contact number with the courier company only so they can deliver the parcel. Our email provider and website host (Cloudflare) process data on our behalf as part of running these services.

How long we keep it

We keep order emails and records for as long as we reasonably need them for the order, returns and our financial records, and then delete them.

Your rights

You may ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we don't need to keep it. Email sales@TJLab.co.za. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa.

Website hosting

This website is hosted on Cloudflare. Like most websites, Cloudflare may process basic technical information (such as your IP address) to deliver and protect the site.
